‘Share a Story’
Youth Voices Competition 2026

This year we partnered with the NSW Multicultural Health Communication Service to deliver the ‘Share a Story’ Youth Voices Competition. High school students from across New South Wales were asked to share an inspiring 500 word story showcasing how they connect with friends, family or peers through physical activity to improve their mental health and wellbeing.

We received over 115 entries in the 3 weeks the competition was open.

All entries were scored against a marking criteria and the highest scoring entries were reviewed by a panel who selected the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners.

The top 20 entries have now progressed to the People’s Choice Award, which is open for public voting.
