Last week the Prevention Education and Research Unit partnered with the Hills Doctors Association for our first general practice and community meeting, hosted by Riverstone Family Medical Practice.
Together we discussed the harms of vaping and shared evidence-based prevention and cessation strategies with general practitioners, school principals and parents. Community and school-based grass-roots interventions are crucial in protecting our youth from the harms of vaping.

It was wonderful working with Murrumbidgee Primary

It was wonderful working with Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network and the UNSW medical students in October to train them to become SALSA educators for the Murrumbidgee region. We are looking forward to sharing the experiences of our SALSA educators and peer leaders soon!
